Why can't I use Uber or Lyft after surgery?
Surgical centers and anesthesiologists require a 'responsible adult driver' — someone who can assist you if needed and is accountable for your safe transport home. Rideshare drivers do not meet this standard. Many facilities will cancel your procedure if you cannot confirm a compliant driver in advance.
Will the driver wait for me during my procedure?
For most outpatient procedures, we drop you off, confirm your expected discharge window with the facility, and return for pickup. For shorter procedures, we can wait on-site. We coordinate directly with the surgical center for your discharge.
How far in advance should I book?
Book as soon as your surgery date is confirmed — ideally 48–72 hours in advance. Same-day and next-day bookings may be available; call us directly at 602-499-2975.
Can you provide documentation for my surgical center?
Yes. We can provide documentation of our licensed NEMT status for surgical centers that require it. Contact us when booking and we'll prepare what you need.
What if my surgery is delayed or rescheduled?
Call us as soon as you know. We understand surgical schedules change and will work with you to reschedule at no penalty for reasonable notice.
